It is also my favorite amp of all time and especially love the 12by7 video pentode becuase of its high bandwidth and accuracy to complement the trannies and the fact that the tubes are never microphonic at least from what I have seen..THe g2 does have the 270 ohm resistor in series with the UL tap and Im sure its more of a safety net than a performance issue but I will leave it in.. The amp continues to amaze me and Im working on some extra mods for it like motor run caps in the decouple stages and this would be in addition to the 100/100 electro caps already in it.Really after Jim;s upgrades the only thing you need to do is put your favorite coupling caps in of choice..The amp does the rest..
