You dont have a scope I take it becuase this would isolate it in seconds..The first thing I would on any amp especially vintage is resolder the all the connections on the tube sockets and then clean them really good with a can deoxit..It sound as tho a connection from a cap or a coupling cap or resistor isnt making good contact between the PI and output...Definitely clean and resolder but if it still persists change the coupling which I would do anyway.You can take a handle end of a medium size screwdriver and tap around that area to see if the noise gets louder or weaker.If it does your right on track.
