If you can readily hear differences among, say, interconnect cables, probably you'll readily hear difference among caps.But just how good these VERY expensive caps will sound is unpredictable. Issues I'd consider include the cost of the replacements, what's in there now, what change in sound I wish to achieve, etc. My sonic goals in electronics are tonal neutrality and cleanliness/nonedginess, and my favorite caps are SoniCap Platinums (teflon-alloy-film-and-foils) and Cardas Golden Ratios. SEARCH for these caps in the archives; perhaps someone has posted something useful.
