Personally, I have used motor run caps for B+ filtering, speaker crossovers, and cathode bypass with great results in all cases. I know others who have used them for coupling caps with good results.

I think they have lower ESR and dielectric absorbation, higher current handeling, and faster slew rate (dI/dT). Just my opinions and have no data to back it up. The largest I have used are 80uF and have not noticed any difference compared to the smaller ones.
