yeah, I see your point somewhat Poinz

but really,other than bearing the brand "Western Electric" and it's over 1/2 century old, what good is it if you are to apply some 50 year old solder into your modern audio projects? Is it gonna instantly transforms your SState gears into Western Electric-like sounding? I pretty much doubt that.

I'll go with CArdas Euthetic or "multicore" instead, LOL!

p.s. I've seen enuf old, crummy solder joints to the point where I would prefer modern solder alloys. My 2c's worth.
