Basic Newbie Question: I just wanted to confirm something I found printed on an old pack of wirewounds since I've never seen it mentioned here . . . Ok, I know that with R in series the values are additive (100k + 100k = 200k) and in parallel (100k and 100k = 50k) but the old package says that in both cases the wattage rating is additive - if both are rated at 1/2 watt the combination is rated at 1 watt. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks . . . Charlie
