If you listen to digital, then on some players there's a phase switch, that switches absolute phase. You can try switching, and see if you hear a difference. If not, then don't worry about inverting stages. 180 degrees phase inversion is not a bad thing, as that can be easily corrected by a simple phase-switch, however the negative feedback after the transistors introduces non-linear phase errors.I have a switch installed between the amp and speakers to switch phase, so I can listen to any source in the correct phase. You definitively need such a switch, as many, many recordings are recorded out-of-phase. I have to use the darn switch after every second / third record / CD. I can highly recommend this tweak for everyone. To learn to hear the phase is an excellent ear-opener.
