Dual rectifier - relative positioning question

Are there any particular considerations when using a pair of rectifiers? For instance, is the spacing between rectifier tubes and orientation of their plate structures likely to be more of an issue than in other tubes? I like to keep at least the diameter of a tube between pairs of tubes, but given the greater heat output and larger voltages involved is this likely to be more critical with rectifiers? Any benefit to rotating them 90deg to each other?

Thanks,
Steve
