Dear Inmates,I need some help here... never used pentodes….
I'm trying to establish a quiescent operating point for a E80F pentode. The tube will be used as input tube for a (MM) phono-stage. I also want to use 0V bias (if possible) and a anode choke.

Using this recipe from Steve Bench to get what I want, it seems impossible to find a quiescent operating point which complies with step 4.4 in SB’s recipe (plate current is zero long before I reach a bias 2 x Vq and thus can't establish Ve).
What am I’m doing wrong here?
