Hi.Whatever the design is, analogue or digital, the bottom line is how does it sound. Over or under design is not an issue.
Nothing has no fault in it. If a power switcher, not design-built properly, affects the sound, who needs it.
At this point, I would not comment until I get the chance of auditioning myself a good digital PSU in tube audio.
