what was the original date of manufacture of your amp?some years ago Reid Welch had Eastern Transformer, a local winder in Florida wind some 1:1 interstages to act as a replacement for the Tango NC-20. Your "eastern" transformers, if the amp is a few years old may very well hail from the USA as advertised.
