I don't understand this and do not think so. I'm always inclined to say five plus five is ten hy in series and 2.5 hy in parallel. Look at their data sheet, is it wrong, always possible 'ya know !! They actually spec it Dave as a 10 hy inductor, " LL 1638 / 10 hy ".
