I strongly agree. The 2XX series is fine for breadboards and prototypes, but definitely not for a finished amp. I tried several and all the ones that I tried have unacceptable mechanical hum. If you are going to use the Hammonds, use the 300 series. You'll be much happier in the long run.Pete.
