I see the coupling capacitor in most 300B SE amps are .22 uf. What if you were to use a slightly higher value, .33uf lets say. What would that do?Also, if I need to regulate the 300B tube to 60mA, where do I add resistance? I'm having trouble figuring the total resistance through the power stage. 700 ohms for the 300B, plus the cathode resistor...what else is missing here? It just doesnt seem to add up.
Do I want the B+ voltage 75 volts higher that what I want the plate voltage, since the cathode is -75V?
Thanks in advance!
