Re: Dyna SCA-35 output transformer used at pre-amp out

I'm not saying that the Dyna 565Z would be a good or bad pre-amp output transformer, but 10ma. of DC will most likely saturate the core and at that point it will not sound good. Without the DC it might stand a chance of sounding good.
I have a pair of UTC LS 151 16K:600 ohm output transformers rated at 7hz to 50K hz 0 ma. DC. I'm sure they would be great but not with plate current running through them.

Most push pull output transformers will not tolerate more than 1ma. of DC. Some won't even take that.
