hello
i planning to build a 45 amp and i will use a drivertube with a mu of 25 i will couple this tube with an interstage to a 45
if i measure with my volt meter on my dac output i get 1,6 volts
so if i do that x 25 i makes 40 volts
and i read a 45 needs 54 volts for full output
is it a must to have here more than 54 volts or is 40 volts also working good?
is this only to get the full 1,8 watt out of the 45 ?
or are there also more problems.if its only the power of the amp its not a problem
i think that i not need the full power
and how many db,s do i lost with 40 volts on the grid instead of 54 ?
thanks Robert
