Dear all,
I manage the pre CTA301 with a pair of telefunken E88CC and the sound improved especially in air and soundstage.
so far I have a Copland CTA 505 with 4 brand new Svetlana 6550C. while I was putting dumpers of them, I saw there are only a pair of 12AX7A made in china that doesn't have any bias adjustment (while the other 4 12AU7 has the bias). I was wondering if someone can give me his opinion if it's worthy to change the triode tubes or leave them as they are (changing them it's just plug and play while the others need rebias and I am not able to do it myself).
I was thinking at telefunken ECC83, but I prefer wait some great suggestion from you guys.
