I shocked myself recently off the mains plug inside the amp. This was really stupid, because I take precautions against it. I have one power lead for both the solder station and trying out amps, so I can't solder to an amp without taking the mains lead out of it. I'd left the amp overnight after testing it, and assumed that the mains plug was in the solder station, which it wasn't. This routine has worked well, but even routines can go wrong.
