Well, since the Welborne forum is gone, I guess this is the place to ask this question ...1. I have found that the holes drilled in the top plates for the wires from the power transformer are closer together than where the wires exit the transformers. Consequently, as the wires come through, they are pressing pretty tightly against the hole edges which are sharp. While they have not cut through the insulation yet, there are clear marks on the wires and some of the insulation scraped off during installation. I am worried both about cutting the insulation and thus either sending lots of volts into the top plates or just being unable to repair the transformers. Does anyone have any suggestions of what to do about this, or has anyone else had a similar problem?
