Hello to all,
I'm fairly new in the arena of in circuit testing, and would like to know how I can test in circuit heater voltage. I would like to know because my preamp can uses 2 kinds of tubes depending on circuitry setup, a 10EM7 or a 6EM7. One has a heater voltage of 9.7v the other has 6.3v. The heater pin placement are the same for both tubes.
Is there a way to test this voltage in circuit, and if so, would like to know the easiest and safest way. Thank you in advance for any advice or info on this question.
