What are some good goals for power supply ripple for 2a3 push pull finals?
what about for a differential pair front end like 6sn7 or 6n7?
I've heard 100mV is a good value for the finals - I've also heard higher figures from an old popular guy on this forum.
I'd like to get the ripple down enough to not depend on common mode rejection.
Current design is choke input, 5H followed by 800uF Wima film caps (2x400uf)... and after that I have the option of .3H 10 ohms and 100uF cap- and also the option to follow that with RC stage and another 50-100uF.
from my simulating a single stage 5H choke input and 800uF - is pretty noisy in PSUD2.
LCLC however looks much better - but am I over doing it given its push pull?
