At 360vdc and 120ma load current it will depend on the series resistance per plate. For example, at 33 ohms per plate the peak repetitive current is about 650ma (the tube is rated at 750ma)
If you increase the resistance to 100ohms per plate that peak current falls to about 520ma
If you increase the load current, then either the cap value needs to go down or the series resistance needs to go up in order to keep the peak repetitive current the same.
If you use a critical inductance input choke instead, then the peak repetitive current falls to just a tiny bit above the load current and there is no series resistance per plate requirement at all.Tre'
