To all feedback experts out there..I changed the hf60 over to kt88s with great result and the bass is phenominal being the output trans is 3,8k which ideal for kt88s in PP..Now the mids and sound great and I didnt sweep the amp yet on the RTA but the mids to appear a tiny bit compressed and I think a feedback tweak would cure this.
Is there an easier to figure what FB resistors and caps to use with sweeping it from 20 to 20khz and then subbing resistors back and forth? Thats how I always did it but it got to be a pain becuase you get from 20khz to 30khz nice and flat and youd back and there would be a dip at 5 to 7khz but this was on dyna mk3s but whats the best way to figure this? Anyone.Were going el34 to kt88 and I dont think we need to move real far to become optimal I hope.
