the volume pot is a stepped attenuator built using milspec Vishay Dale. here's the datasheet: http://www.vishay.com/docs/31027/cmfmil.pdfThe tube is a 6H30 with around 150V in one of the plate. heater is running at 6V 825mA.
There is a side of the pot quite close to the 6h30. possibly about 5mm apart.
I looked at the datasheet for the resistor and I think I'm still okay up to 125degrees Celcius.
any ideas/comments?
