I am using their economy line 5K OPT
on my SE KT66/6550 amp right now.
Since I am using it above 200Hz then
I didn't need the more expensive model
as well as needing a 4 ohm tap.
Just as pretty as the James model, in fact
I have some James Chokes on the amp too
which makes for a nice contrast.They only have about 25 hours on them right now
and the amp is sounding more and more refined.
The highs are softening and extending nicely.
The midrange is forming with more body which
suggests that the lower midrange starts low.
But then again the WHOLE amp is breaking in
so it could be anything in the amp breaking in
that is contributing in making these changes.DanL
