What did I do now!

Tube DIY Asylum

Do It Yourself (DIY) paradise for tube and SET project builders.

Put new tubes in my Assemblege ST-40 amp and tried to bias it, first time for me. I guess I was using the wrong setting on my multimeter, long story short when I was turning up the bias pots I went to far. One of the tubes glowed brite red and I smelled smoke. I turned it off. Found the right setting and only one tube will bias.
What did I do to my amp.....please......thanks.......DK
