You should change the filter caps but that isnt necessarily going to reduce that ripple from .7v as its very minimal to start with..Most of my amps have .5 to 1.2v and I get no noise as far as ripple goes at the outputs..Are you sure the amp is well shielded? The thing is if it picks up any RF whatsoever thats going to generate signal.I think the buss bar that one poster mentioned is a superb idea and you may want to put a metal shield on the transformer as I have seen that cause problems.Noisy tubes are another thing that cause this problem even if they are new at times.
