I'm with you on this one. I think channel separation is over-hyped for purely theoretical reason. Some of the best sounding amps I have heard used a single shared power supply.

Besides that, how much inherent channel separation does a typical phono cartridge present? YIKES!!! It varies from cart to cart, I'm sure, but nobody seems to worry about it and I'm willing to bet lunch money for a week that crosstalk at the cart is MUCH greater than what you might get through the ps.

Go ahead and follow your own vision.
