Hi everyone,Quick question. The R18 resistor on my S5 k12-m tube amp burned and the legs broke 6 months or so back. I desoldered and replaced it with a new resistor. The pads had started to look pretty bad from the work and recently the resistor broke off again. I was unable to find usable pad to solder to anymore on one of the sides. The trace had pulled up exposing the copper however. I was able to solder a new resistor to the trace and the remaining solder pad. Upon powering up the amp, I noticed that there seemed to be more hum than usual. As I watched, the resistor began to discolor and the solder turned liquid again. The sound is still working (though not optimal), but I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be overheating like this. Can anyone offer me some advice on the best way to debug and fix this? Thanks for your help.
