All other things being equal, if your speakers suddenly became 18 dB more efficient, would the lower output power requirement, for the same listening level, make for a Happier Power Supply and therefore a Happier Amp?Or said another way, perhaps the important watt for a tube amp is the first 1/32 of a watt. ;-)
