When the B+ is ramping up and ramping down. It is after the 5AR4 warms up (since it is indirectly heated), and then immediately at shutdown. The startup pulse to 20V ramps up and then back to 0V over the course of about 1 1/2 seconds. The B+ takes several seconds to ramp up...maybe 5 seconds.
The shutdown pulse ramps up to 20V and then back to 0V a bit quicker, maybe one second or a bit shorter. The B+ drops to zero very quickly at shutdown, maybe around 1 second.
After the first L in my CLCLC, I have a 270K resistor feeding into a 100K resistor bypassed by a 0.1uF cap. This is used to provide a heater bias on my 6SN7 filaments. Would this also function as a bleeder resistor?
