how to use a triode or triodes to frequency double in audio range?

before I spend what little money I have purchasing one of the online articles I found, I wondered if anyone on the forum might already have the info and be willing to share.
I have found papers going back as far as 1931 on how to use a triode as a frequency doubler, but haven't found a link yet that would give me the information for free, and it's not clear whether these articles are just for RF or optimized for audio, and what I want is frequency doubling in the audio range that accepts whatever frequency is injected, not tuned to one fixed frequency.
I found tube frequency doubler circuits in my 1938 ARRL manual, pages 179-181, for RF, and this might be adaptable for audio frequencies, but probably not - these look like they're for one fixed frequency. What I want is a tube circuit that will frequency double across the whole audio spectrum without tuning for any one frequency.
would someone have info on this and like to share this?

thanks for taking a look at this query.

best, charles
