First you should decide how you want to configure the 6V6/7C5's. Pentode, U-L, tertiary winding CFB, triode or some combination. 6V6's with the RCA tube manual circuit( 6AU6 drivers ) is a good one to try with an input IT doing the phase splitting. You'll need 10-15V per phase of drive that is fairly easy on the IT.
