40uV (!!!) That's quiet a performance figure when many are lucky to get 700-1000uV.
I did go through the faff of swapping my twisted cable (basically using stripped mains cable for the purpose) for twisted/screened mic cable for both 6SN7 and 300B AC filaments.
However I get the feeling that the chunkier mains cable sounded more lively - maybe mic cable capacitance is not ideal.
