so I used the same soft recovery items as rec'd by TPC in Canada around that time. I don't remember the codes or brand. But we snubbed them anyway, followed by 3 (triode amp) and 4 (pentode) big brown 470uf 400volt Nichichemicons, bypassed.Slammmm?!!! you betcha!

Original NoS type filter caps were even worse, burrrppp, the Wima MKP's coupling caps were far nicer than the OEM visconols, and, they last.
Not ALL diyers have deep pockets, and some of us can hear.
