Dear Richard,Well, I use the 5 ohm MQ chokes right now. They will be part of a rather absurd low DCR, low C (and partly low H) PSU I´m building now for my amp (actually 6 PSU´s 3 stages x 2 channels, 20 low DCR chokes in total + real low DCR PT´s).
I will do a full report when I have the time, but for now the 5 ohm MQ chokes has brought my current setup to a new level. I hope to soon get my 5 ohm 8H chokes I also ordered from a very respected local winder here. They will be HUGE (far bigger and heavier than the MQ chokes which are already the size of a OPT), so it is a bit unpractical.
