The 4-125A sounded quite nice - lots of clarity and big, big sound!Triode mode was best for audio; 'tho I preferred UL with guitar.
Please note that guitar application was my primary motivation for the breadboard, so I did not spend a lot of time with it in audio.VT-204/3C24 is a great tube; it is extremely clean sounding - depending upon listening preferences [and the rest of your system], you might find yourself wanting a bit more warmth with the 4-125A.
