Why don't you do something tricky, and make your amp switchable between 45 and 845 output? It would simply mean you can switch between an output transformer or interstage transformer for the 45, and obviously switch the speaker outputs too. You should also have a separate power switch for the 845 B+ / heater. That would be very cool...

If you haven't bought your output trannies yet, maybe you could even get a trannie that has multiple primary taps such that you don't need a separate set of iron for each output tube.
