Save these questions until after you've finished at least ONE amp. Right now all of this forward thinking, while perhaps enjoyable, is an obstacle. Why?It's borrowing trouble. You haven't even heard this 845 amp and you're speculating on ways to improve it. Soon, you'll wonder why you don't incorporate all the new ideas in to start with. Then you have to wait for more parts to come in. By the time that happens there are new ideas and so it goes on FOREVER.
If you can't use this time to work on the amp you're building now - the Bugle - use it to buy some future credit with SWMBO so that when it is building time you don't have to wedge it into a two hour crack.
