I would like to use a choke that is rated for 150mA @ 400VDC in an application that will be approximately 75mA @ 470VDC. Since I am only using half the maximum rated current, am I safe exceeding the voltage? What are the risks by exceeding the maximum rated voltage of a choke? Thanks!
