Heater supplies are, relatively, not as critical as the high voltage in terms of distortion and noise. Just make a nice stiff supply and give the tubes as close to their rated voltage as possible. If the tube is rated for 6.3 volts, give it 6.3 volts. I have never put a scope on a heater supply. Since tubes can be very happy with AC, the noise in a DC supply is down in my list of parameters to optimize. Can it improve sound to have a perfect heater supply, yes.
