If you are using 6.3 volts to heat then connect pins 4 and 5 together and apply power to pins 9 and 4/5. If you are using 12.6 volts apply power to pins 4 and 5 and leave pin 9 unconnected.The squealing noise could be from a feedback connection that is incorrect. Try removing it and see what happens.
