thank you all for your commentsat this stage I am trying to understand how the amps work rather than adding to my system. I like the theory of having the signal path as simple as possible, and want to understand what effect any change in the circuits I play with will have. Its a learning exercise Until I feel competent to attempt a well thought out and well regarded design I actually understand. (in the meantime I am waiting for some cary 805 power amps - the problem with my system I tracked down to the Bryston 14b sst- lots of power and current but just does not sound like music to me. Someone rightly told me all those tranies trying to switch on and off at the same time is going to cause some problems)
For serious ,non educational purposes , I am playing with various enclosures for some high eff PAudio drivers so the 300b option is attractive so thank you for the scematics danlaudionut.
