The solen film and foils sound ok but not nearly as good as the paper in oil k40s that come from Russia. The thing is bypassing electrolytics in the power supply does absolutely nothing unless you use a 20uf or higher on each cap.The thing is the electrolytic caps are slow unless you get black gates or phillips and they are still electrolytics by nature but bypassing with that little 1uf that your trying to do is going to do nothing.
If you dont belive it,take your scope and put it on the PS filter caps with a muscial signal going thru the amp at about half power.Do it with the 1 uf caps bypassing and without and come back and tell us what you see.You wont find a spec of a difference.
Now if the caps were coupling in the signal path,bypassing makes a big difference.
