Do It Yourself (DIY) paradise for tube and SET project builders.

Now it explains it - suffering from traumatic childhood ...

Dear Jeff

I have been reading all your post. Most of your low DCR "encouragements" make sense. It is obvious to all that lower DCR is always a good thing. It is just going to be huge that's all. Not a problem for many DIYers - me included.

The other stuff about lower L, and not worrying about crit L are things that I have tried and fail to see their benefit. Perhaps, like you say, I must start from scratch and build a PS from ground up using the right low DCR PT and Choke. Using quasi semi choke input, etc.

Please let me make it clear that I appreciate your contribution in getting us to think out of the square. I have not ridiculed or attacked any of your claims. In fact, I appluad your willingness to share. I am a "doer" and am hoping that you summarise all your intent in a "example circuit." This should be easy, as all you have got to do is show us your amp design, or at least its power supply. Your cloak and dagger approach is not helping anyone.

Cheers
William
