Hi,IMHO : Run them at 5/8 to 2/3rds suggested A1 ratings for best sound and longest life span. There will be a less-strained sound, a sweeter sound at that lower dissipation, assuming all else in the amp is optimized, which it usually is not.
Ed Sawyer is correct, GO choke input ASAP, low DCR, maybe low HY too.
