Thorsten,Why no more than 10mA on the anode? I have been using 17mA in my 45 for some years and I like it very much and have experienced no problems with the c3g tubes. (Slightly below the maximim rating according to the curve.) As I did not try 10mA I cannot state that my settings sound better so I am open to experimentation. I sourced the data from the link below and the plate curves.
