Almost identical to a 6L6 except with a plate cap and five pin base. The plate cap and possible liabilty limit it's use in modern equipment, but the 807 is one tough tube and pretty good sounding. So are those 5R4's you have......if you ever want to get rid of them let me know. Unfortunately for the 807's, there were millions made in WWII, so their value hasn't risen much over the past decade.
