Hi,
I have used the Hammond 269GX with good results,but later found a NOS Thordarson 440 vct at 150ma. on Ebay for a reasonable price, and swapped out the Hammond. No detectable difference in sound quality that I can hear. Hammonds are conservatively rated and the amp draws less than 60 ma., both channels .
