I was reading this russian teflon tweak (http://www.moxtone.com/PTFE_COND.htm) which I originally found in diyaudio. It's in Hungarian I think but the photos should be easy to follow.Since I don't have a vice and I have plenty of teflons, I decided that maybe I can remove the black epoxy sufficiently to expose the internal wiring.
But the solid lead seems to be quite deep and when I pulled it with some force, it came out and out came the internal stranded wire.
Does anyone think the cap is still working? thank you.
